I think until chelsea finally sign a striker/ centre forward the media will link the club with every "top" player because they know, with how things have transpired with Diego costa, that Chelsea are obviously in the market for one, perhaps two!

The market is undoubtedly difficult because there seem to be so few options that a) are available and b) are judged to have the necessary quality to make an impact at a club competing for major honours.

If we discount the same names being thrown around (belotti, morata, aubemeyang) can anyone suggest alternatives you think could be a good acquisition for Chelsea?

Chelsea should steer clear of Higuain even if he's valued at 20m. Aside being overrated he's bad luck and never performed when expected. I would rather trust Mitchy than buy Higuain.

One of Muller/ Lewandowksi could be possible although unlikely. I'm not sure if he was injured at any point last season but Muller didn't play much.
Completely unrealistic but I'd do promise/ pay whatever it takes to get Dybala.
Otherwise there really isn't more than the 3 we're currently being linked with.
