Just heard on skysports straight swap for Lukaku for Vlahovic any truth in it Ed's.

{Ed002's Note - Dusan Vlahovic (S) Only joined in January 2022 but financial issues that Juventus now have will likely determine if he is sold in the summer - although they will fight to raise funds from elsewhere and consider him not for sale. Regardless of his loss of form, there will be a lot of interest if he is and his agent has approached Manchester United, Chelsea and PSG. Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also keen. Chelsea may be open to an exchange of players and he is the likely first choice as they have held discussions over two other players with Juventus - but right now there is no push as his wage demands are seen as excessive. PSG have him as a possible Mbappe replacement - but not first choice - but don't lose sight of them. As a wildcard, Arsenal may rekindle interest but would likely want to include players in any deal and Aston Villa seek a high profile addition. Manchester United would not have him as first choice. Seen as a potential addition by Atletico although they can likely be discounted.}

In some ways, whilst I am glad this would mean solving the problem of Lukaku, I would be disapointed that, after his showing in the pre-season games, Jackson would then be pushed down the order - and where would that leave Broja?

I tend to agree Dempsey, and if you read Ed002's reply to Nib66 on 31-7 re another 1st team striker "probably not".
Personally I feel Jackson has exceeded expectations in pre season and has created a nice dilemma for the club. Broja will need to be eased back in after his injury, and Lukaku, for me, does not offer what Jackson does right now in Poch's system (too old, too slow, not willing to adapt) .
Ed002 please correct me if I'm wrong, but, my feeling is, nothing will happen this window re Lukaku (due to his unleastic expectations), and he will train with the U21's and then in January window decide to move to Saudi league. This mercenary makes Bogarde look like an amateur!
I just want this man gone from our club!

{Ed002's Note - Departures will be key to any new striker being added. Juventus are still pressing.}
