Hey Eds, any truth in us moving for Thomas Vermaalen or Robin Van Persie today? Thanks for the answers! Heres hoping to a exciting tranfer deadline day.

both seem highly unlikely to me Fenerbache don't want to let him leave despite the player clearly being unhappy and as for vermaleen can't see what he can bring to us centrally or even as a full back injuries took there toll on what was at his peak a good defender.

Is it me or it makes you feel depressed that players you grew up admiring ( irrespective of the team ) start to disappear one by one.
Eg. Gerrard, Lampard, Carra, Xavi, Villa, Cassillas ( while he is not completely gone, he was one of the few people that made Real Madrid tolerable) and now Terry.

I guess this is what getting old means : (
