Everyone moans about lukaku first touch but that's his only flaw. His first touch hasn't affected him getting the most league goals this season. It hasn't affected him becoming Everton's best player. I know his first touch isn't any near as good as costas, but he scores more, he is more consistent, he's faster maybe even stronger, taller and less aggressive. And a bonus - he would actually like to play for us whereas Costa is always disinterested and lazy. Everyone has flaws, u can't get the perfect player.

Cfc17 - I agree with you on Costa/ Lukaku debate but definately can't agree that you Can't get a perfect player. We got one for 35 mill and his name is Kante.

During his first season with us Drogba's 1st touch was awful - the ball would bounce off his knee, shin, thigh, and go anywhere but where it was meant to go. He learnt quickly and developed into perhaps the best centre-forward in Premiership history.
We should never have let Lukaku go in the first place.

His first touch is truly awful but I agree his scoring record is impressive. The major thing for me is his attitude. He is not liked by certain important people at the club (confirmed by Ed) his attitude and arrogance are not easily forgiven or forgotten by these people.
