I’d walk away and test the water with Madrid for Tchouameni. Their midfield is stacked and I think a good fee would be enough to prize him away.

I get you saying we could have got Rice but like the ends have said he wasn’t first choice and he’s joined Arsenal. We can’t do anything about the price tag but I do know we need to start getting people in now ideally for poch to look at them preseason, as last year was a total disaster. Why can’t it be as simple as ask the price? pay it or don’t! move on to the next option.
