Money spent on players doesn’t stop injuries Matt.

The fact is we have ten players injured and that obviously doesn’t help.

Excuse excuse 10 players injured it doesn't help but we’ve spent a billion the players that are at the club still should be beating teams that we have lost against and again today let us down so if Nkunku gets injured again even tho he’s not proven where back to square one it’s a shambles. We haven’t got a striker with billion spent Jackson doesn’t look like score still don’t see where the goals are coming from.

Nib, it’s not an excuse it’s just a fact. We have a long list of injuries and it doesn’t help. Nothing more, nothing less.

If you think spending money on players is some of guarantee of success then I’m sorry to say you are in my opinion wrong.

Only time will tell if some of the player we have signed over the last three windows will be good enough for the premiership.

They’re good enough to be beating Bournemouth or what we playing at. A billion pound has been spent the should all be able to play football with that amount of money spent on them, the problems where we never bought a proven forward end of the main part in football putting the ball in the net ok Nkunku did ok last year and he will make some difference but you don’t just rely on him.

Nib, A high transfer fee does not make a top player. Just as a low fee doesn’t make a poor player.

Putting aside your choice who didn’t want to sign for us what decent CF would you have signed?

We’ve spent more than enough to have a full squad and depth, or different options up front.

I get people want to defend the club, or play devils advocate, let’s just admit we’ve blown £1b on a hopeful / wishful thinking / fingers crossed these players become stars project.? 5 games in, can’t score and we lose our heads when we get into final 3rd, arsenal city spurs Brighton, Newcastle and villa look better than us, I mean, I’m negative because I’m annoyed at how far we’ve fallen but what I’m saying is clear to see, it’s almost fact,

I said two weeks leading up to the window shutting just someone who’s proven in the prem just to take the pressure off Jackson I think toneys a good shout but I know we couldn’t do anything till January I think Nkunku will help, broja for me isn’t good enough in my opinion hope he proves me wrong! Even someone like Danny ings or him from villa watkins. It’s too late now anyway but it’s got to be the first thing in January.

Nibb, not in our control but it is unfair for some (not you) to blame the club entirely for us not having more cover in the CF position. It can’t be held responsible for injuries.

Good article on BBC web by Jermain Jenas saying that all Jackson needs is good instruction from a proven goalscorer and suggests Jimmy Floyd could be our attack coach. Any thoughts?

Matt, I can’t stop you thinking we have “blown £1bn” that’s obviously up to you.

From your post that would mean you consider every player we have signed in the last three windows as a waist of money? What a bizarre statement.

Also, there is no such thing as “almost fact”.

Dempsey, I think if it helps any player to get personal coaching, then why not.

I would love Drogba, JFH or any other forward to give him some one on one coaching. My one concern would be it could make him more concerned about his finishing.
