I know that bakayoko is the main target for central midfield but do you have any idea who alternatives may be if it doesn't work out, also is there any chance that Chelsea would sign more than one centre mid, say if matic and cesc leave?

im a big bakayoko fan i think he has the potential to get to Patrick vieira and ya ya toure level, i read today that he had 1000 passes last season and 80% of them went forward, i can see a lot in him and would love us to sign him.

I was wondering if you know of any interest in boufal of Lille, seen a lot of reports stating that Chelsea are 'leading the chase' for him and that he might be one of contes first signing, any truth in this or more media rubbish?

PSG and Monaco have both had the player watched regularly and PSG, Barcelona and Chelsea have spoken with Lille to see if some sort of deal may be possible. Roma, Inter, Manchester United and Lyon have also had the player watched this season. Obviously he would not eb able to pass a medical at this time.}

I don't like RLC at striker, he's a bit lazy which I assume is why he has stopped playing as a slightly deeper CM and has been pushed forward but I still think he is at his best when a bit deeper. Costa and batshuayi are fine and hopefully solanke would be up to the job if ever called upon.

Don't think solanke will get near the squad. Was watching him warm up at start of match with JT and Nat and you could just tell he wasn't bothered. JT is a true pro, even as a sub he was warming up, on his toes with the ball, wanting to get involved, same with Nat Chalobah but Dom just looked so disinterested. Wouldn't surprise me to see him out on loan again.

Can any eds or anyone supply useful info on the CB situation, I would be happy with any of koulibaly, romagnoli, and maksimovic as long as a deal gets done swiftly, no need for fans to worry about money.

Being linked with Thiago Maia of santos, seems an interesting one, certainly has talent and would really suit the system, does anyone have any insight about this, eds or other posters? Apparently have sent someone out to Brazil to convince santos to sell him to us for 15 mil?
Also any developments on Oscar is it true or a kid or rubbish?

Wanyama apparently handed in a transfer request. If we want him we should be able to get him. That said, I too feel Mikel can offer us practically the same on the pitch.

Mikel is not a patch on wanyama.
Wanyama is more powerful, mobile and uses the ball better.
I'd be happy to see him next to matic because there's no chance of getting pogba.
