Ed002 reports that we scouted liverpool atalanta watching koopmeiners and are willing to pay €60m to bring him. Any truth? Would be a good Gallagher replacement and bring experience.

{Ed002's Note - Teun Koopmeiners (DM/CM) Atalanta are reluctant to sell but his agent wants the player to be playing regularly in the Champions League with Newcastle, Juventus and Napoli having declared interest. Interest of Milan shifted to Tijjani Reijnders so they can be discounted. Approaches were been made to Arsenal, Manchester United, Spurs, Liverpool and Chelsea although none have spoken with Atalanta and all have other targets for now but cannot be discounted with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United having sent scouts. Brighton and Aston Villa interest has gone. Juventus has a creative solution and will push for a summer move. Player wants Juventus move. Marseille have walked away due to the quoted cost although a change of ownership could see a huge shift for them. Atalanta are seeking €60M if pressed to sell.}

I saw on the liverpool pages ed we have a preffered option for a silva replacement can I ask who or what 2 or 3 even are the main group the club want to replace silva.

just as a general question for you ed, how highly would you rate Thiago Silva and his career?
I would put him in my all time chelsea 11 he just pips desially/ Cahill/ Carvahlo for me but i think he's been an absoloute gem of a player and 1 I wish we got 10 years ago but just happy the prem got to see a player of his calibre even at the age he is and was when he signed.

Ed002, if possible could you provide any info on Chukwuemeka ahead of the summer? I've always felt he has a bucket load of potential but wonder if he could be lined up for a departure given his struggles this season?

Personally I hope he stays as I think he can make a huge difference to the squad if he can stay fit.

RBD, on the few times he has played this season he has contributed a lot to our attacking play. Like you I rate him highly and I see him as an important player for us for seasons to come.

I was just wondering how Chelsea's defensive targets were shaping up, specifically if there was any interest in Yoro from Lille or the two Portuguese centre backs Diomonde or A. Silva, as has been touted by some reports.
I was also curious if there was any interest in the young left back Kerkez as you previously said we may be in for a left back.

Agree with Bill1955. If only CFC fans had a little more faith. Yes, it looks to bordering on the ridiculous at the moment, but I'm positive that having had a season of English Premiership football, this young side will gel and prove to be wise investments.

Ed reports are coming out that we're looking to sell Reece James this summer. I know he's been injury prone, but he is the club captain. Surely it's not true?

If we are selling these players, amongst others, surely a swap will not really help with PSR, also any player RM want to include is one they want to get rid of anyway therefore will not be much use to us.

Standard It’s a tough situation with James. Ideally he’ll be over the worst of his injuries and can stay and have a long career here at Chelsea, but how long do we wait to see if he’s past his injuries? There’s got to be a point in which we decide we have to just let him go.

Bill1955, seen they’d be willing to offer Rodrygo/ Tchoumeni possibly for TAA, both are good players tbf, hardly Real Madrid scraps.

I'm not sure if you have reported any changes yet on osihmen but please is there any worthy update as per reports deal has been agreed with Chelsea for osihmen.
