This might well be my imagination but it seems to me every time it comes out that a certain playing position at our club is not a priority that is exactly the position our next signing plays in.

If only, indeed, Tom. The Athletic, 4 August, reported in a detailed article on EPL transfers that 'reports of their [Chelsea] links with Costa are being downplayed'. Make that what you will. So, it looks like Sanchez v Penders for No. 1 spot, while the NYT says it will be Slonina v Sharman-Lowe for 3rd GK spot.

Being reported in Spain that we are about to meet the release clause for Diogo Costa.
