Heavy session today my fellow chatters, beers in the mitre, game full of rubbish football first half, lovely to see a win over that lot and a clean sheet for the boys. Our set piece coach is raising his game as well, 4 scored from corners already and nice to have a striker who knows what his head is for. Top of the league, Champions of the World, the only club to win it all. Lovely.

It was made even better Tom when the news that Spurs had lost came through! and to think some of the so called experts had been predicting that they would do well this season.

Yes suddenly we look a threat again at last from corners. Well yes it does help to have a striker who can head the ball as some of us have been saying for some time now but is also indeed down to set piece coaching improved.

Greenaway, the spuds only got beat 1-0 but a mate says it was the worst performance he has seen in many a long year.

City getting stuffed helps a bit as well.

It maybe my imagination but i think we never play well after an international break.
