IMO we have sold Schurrle not only because of money but also to make more problems to Bayern Munich. With Schurrle Wolfsburg will become serious contender in bundesliga. They are only four or five points behind Bayern Munich.

Why would Chelsea care what bayern do in a competition they're not in and never will be? Bayerns lack of competition in the league hampers them in the latter stages of the champions league IMO. The reason they've been so good over the last few years is because of the challenge of B.Dortmund
