Hi Ed.

I skimmed through your article but unfortunately don't have the time to read the entire thing today.
I was wondering if you, like Klopp, think the game should be replayed?

Personally, I believe it would be quite problematic if the match were to be replayed. This is because VAR decisions have frequently proven to be incorrect in many cases. My point isn't to suggest that the Liverpool vs. Spurs match wasn't problematic, because it very much was, but rather that it would be unjust to all the other teams that have been on the receiving end of erroneous VAR judgments.

In my opinion, Liverpool supporters should, at the very least, take solace in the Premier League acknowledging their mistake with VAR—a gesture I can't recall happening when they made an error in a Chelsea game, for example. I don't mean to imply that this acknowledgment is entirely satisfying, but it's not something that can be taken for granted, and many Premier League clubs are yet to receive such recognition.

{Ed001's Note - the point isn't whether a replay or not takes place, the point should be whether or not the PGMOL takes proper action to fix the issues instead of vague promises for change. Also they can't just say Darren England will not officiate Liverpool games, if he is not capable of that, then he is not capable enough to officiate in the Prem at all. It is the same old crap as always from the PGMOL, standing together and covering up problems. There needs to be transparency and all communication needs to be open and available for all to hear live during matches.}

When we wanted Anthony Taylor to be "excused" from future Chelsea games we were told that in no uncertain terms that would not happen yet when stroppy kloppy moans guess what an official will no longer oversee their games, one rule for Liverpool and one for the rest of us.

Also, we had a genuine goal ruled out for offside in the league Cup final against them, will be now be awarded the Cup final win as it cannot be replayed due to change in personnel at both clubs.

Why was the spurs game not replayed when CC's hair was pulled back.

I could go on but do could all clubs fans, my point is the authorities only back down when klopp and their fans have a strop.

I totally agree Ed the whole thing stinks to high heaven

Why couldn't he of stopped the game after he makes mistake I would have total respect if he had

What gets me is in rugby and cricket there is never a mistake ever it's reviewed properly openly live audio and the correct outcome is always made even if it takes a while

Before var we were all down the boozer saying that was offside or the ref had a stinker that was never a red card and yes human error occurred and we all got on with it

Now with clear evidence in front of 3 officials behind tv screens they are still getting it wrong

Incompetence isn't a good enough excuse its corrupt and the refs have openly said so not for money or maybe it is but they are protecting each others mistakes

Which inhindsight is making it worse because the public which they don't realise have eyes to see what is actually happening.

{Ed001's Note - it is so simple for them to correct as well. The complete lack of responsibility that they take is shameful.}

I can't understand as well why they have refused the 3d technology they use in the world cup and the champions league, for me it is miles clearer than those stupid lines they draw on each week that never seem to be straight!

{Ed002's Note - Because a number of clubs rejected it being added to the agenda. There may be another attempt next year.}

Was Liverpool one of those clubs?

{Ed002's Note - Yes.}
