Brilliant 1st half last night, my only disappointment was mudryk, what's eds opinion on him?

{Ed001's Note - he is very very quick but doesn't use his brain. He needs to learn to slow down and save his speed for when it is needed, rather than using it constantly. Then his touch and his technique with the ball would be better, rather than inconsistent. When you are moving so fast it is difficult to have control over the ball.}

Agree completely with Ed001 here. Mudryk seems to have all the ability in the world. He can strike the ball cleanly on his shots, his technique and dribbling look excellent at times, and he's actually displayed some interesting creativity/ vision and passing technique.

But he forces the issue constantly, seemingly trying to prove too much to everyone that he's worth whatever the club paid for him. If he can learn to calm down on the pitch, read the game, and then pick his moments to go for the kill, then that would make him much better immediately. Ball retention for example is something he simply doesn't do, which leads to cheap turnovers and reduces the level of control the team can have in a game. The ability is there, just the application of it is not there yet. He might be 23 "already", but in terms of football experience he might be one of the youngest guys in the squad.

{Ed001's Note - that is something the coaches really should be working on. It doesn't seem to be clicking in his head yet though, as I have not yet seen any signs of improvement. Still, early days for him yet and sometimes it just needs one moment when a player does it right for them to twig on.}

I find he always looks bright going through the middle than on the wings.
