Dont know. Nor cpuld I follow all of Maresca's thinking in terms of starting line up and subs. As I don't know Gittens started and kept on whole game. Completely ineffectual sadly when Maresca whole system depends on effective wingers. But also not sure why TC taken off though probably cos on yellow. Fofana unlucky to get boot on face. Reece misses two good chances.

Thought Joao Pedro, Pedro Neto, Josh, Caicedo, and Gusto played pretty well. But now a top 8 finish seems unlikely our poor patch continues.

JBS, goal aside I thought Pedro was just about average. Cucarella had a shocker and Enzo was only marginally better. I promise you Gittens is a lot better than we are seeing.

Josh and Neto our best players but it was a pretty low bar.

Why wasnt Estevao brought on for Gittens second half? In fact in such an important match for top 8 chances why didn't Garnacho and Neto both start? Ok injuries have played a part in terms of tinkering with back 4 but why didn't both TC and Fofana start? Though Josh did pretty well and that one goal saving block was sensational.

But fact is we missed big chances that if taken would not have led to this inquest! Fact that we dropped points rather than getting at least one was crucial for top 8 chances. Now we have unenviable task of needing to win in Naples assuming we get hone win v Pafos.

Thought Cucarella was poor, everyone one else was just OK but after we scored the game became way too open we really need Palmer fit and Cacaido back.

Estevao should certainly got some game time in my eyes,
