Could this be true? Chelsea get heavy fine and transfer ban suspended for two widows. This is the judgment for our 74 offences while under the RA ownership.

A mate tells me that is the rumour he has heard. If it is true, I think the club should except the punishment and move on.

1.) 18 Feb 2026 08:09:26
Best to wait and see Tom, there were lots of rumours about a FOS that never materialised.

2.) 18 Feb 2026 15:55:18
I have big doubts about it being true. Another mate told me he heard we have got a 15pt penalty, a fine and transfer ban.

3.) 18 Feb 2026 18:26:15
Tom, being reported by The Daily Mail that supporters can anticipate NON-SPORTING sanctions as an outcome.

That would mean a FINE rather than, say, a transfer ban or points deduction.

4.) 18 Feb 2026 20:19:18
Maybe mate (a) was correct.

I personally think it would be harsh on our present owners, they appear to have acted correctly.

5.) 19 Feb 2026 09:49:04
Thecdaily mail said it is the owners views that we will get a fine and transfer ban, not actual info.

A rumour today saying we are considering bringing back Kante. I have very little idea about his abilities nowadays but I’m told he is still playing for France.

Always seemed such a nice humble guy and I personally believe he would help our players on lots of levels.

1.) 24 Jan 2026 09:06:23
Tom,

If it's to assist on a coaching level, I'm absolutely fine with that however if it's to play, sadly it's a no from me.

2.) 24 Jan 2026 09:21:14
No brainer for me.

3.) 25 Jan 2026 15:05:33
I'd take him back in a heartbeat, Tom. Possibly my favourite ever player. No idea what his level is like, but as many pros have shown you can be an older player and still make a positive difference on the pitch. Besides which, he was so far and away in terms of energy levels a few years ago, he's probably just a very good player now.

I'd take even one of the Kante twins, if it couldn't be both. Bring him on in those games we just need to see out to be a calm head on the pitch. He's a winner. Plus, as you say, he's such a humble guy as well as model professional, and someone like that is exactly what this team needs.

4.) 27 Jan 2026 18:30:59
Agree that Kante back at Chelsea til end of season would be great but apparently he would like a longer contract?

18 Jan 2026 19:04:08
I have seen a few comments about Mudryk coming back to Chelsea very soon.

I have no idea if this is true.

TomB

1.) 18 Jan 2026 19:36:58
Hope it is Tom, for the lads career.

2.) 18 Jan 2026 20:03:30
Hope so.

3.) 19 Jan 2026 16:09:02
Hope he has a future in the game Tom but right now what are the rumours suggesting in terms of likely return or timing of this? What is the state of his case/punishment or lack of this?

4.) 20 Jan 2026 07:22:10
JBS, according to my son he attached a blue heart emoji to a picture to himself and such is social media, this indicates he is about to make a comeback.

5.) 20 Jan 2026 13:01:51
So the algorithim of social media is deciding the fate of him? interesting.

6.) 21 Jan 2026 12:10:19
Surely a loan to build fitness and confidence? He has form great attributes, but in playing years, he is younger than his biological age.

7.) 21 Jan 2026 12:51:19
Drugs keep you young kids! thumbs up.

8.) 22 Jan 2026 22:14:11
And celery doesn’t tickle. ??.

15 Jan 2026 20:43:44
Does anyone know anything about Jacobo Ramón?

A mate tells me we have made an inquiry and looking at certain pundits comments it might be true.

Obviously he is young but I would be interested to know if anyone has seen him play?

TomB

1.) 16 Jan 2026 09:09:42
Surprise Surprise, another youngster.

2.) 16 Jan 2026 12:39:13
I had already said that. I’m not worried about his age, I just want to know if he is any good.

3.) 16 Jan 2026 13:15:17
My point is Tom, no lessons have been learnt.

4.) 16 Jan 2026 14:26:03
FGS, I have no interest in his age or about any so called lessons to be learned. I just wanted to know if any poster has seen him play and if yes, is he any good.

We could just as easily go out and buy a player with Premiership experience and of a certain age, like Tosin and they might turn out to be crap for us!

5.) 16 Jan 2026 15:05:13
Wasn't Tosin signed on a free.

6.) 16 Jan 2026 15:32:40
Silly me and there I was thinking it was an age thing.

I repeat I only want to know if he is a good player. i've assumed he can be young and be a good player!

7.) 16 Jan 2026 16:18:20
Of course youngsters can be good but not all are.

8.) 16 Jan 2026 16:27:46
I would rather sign a promising youngster like this guy Tom than an experienced old head like Koudibally on £300k a week.

9.) 16 Jan 2026 16:28:34
And not all older or experienced players work out at a new club.

I assume no one has any idea if this lad is a good player.

10.) 16 Jan 2026 17:15:04
Silva on a free was one of our best signings ever. Whoever we could sign I can only hope he has a calm head and somewhere close to the skill and vision of TS. In my dreams?

11.) 16 Jan 2026 17:56:20
Think he was the kid from Real Madrid. Don't know much about him other than YouTube clips. Can't be any worse than what we have.

12.) 16 Jan 2026 18:49:56
Thanks Dan.

01 Jan 2026 12:21:18
Ok, I have just spoken to my mate who told me EM would get the sack if we didn’t beat Bournemouth he says EM has already left.

I asked about a replacement. I asked about my choices as our next manager but he said it’s all up in the air.

TomB

1.) 01 Jan 2026 14:31:12
Not Rossenoir or Xavi for me . but likes of Unai Emery unlikely to be available if especially mid season. And why jump ship frpm Villa to CFC now?

2.) 01 Jan 2026 15:12:52
Thanks for the update tomb appreciate it.

Good luck to Ashley Cole in his new job. One of my favourite players and certainly the best LB I've ever seen.

TomB

16 Mar 2026 16:32:18
For those interested in player ratings, WAGNH run a post match fan poll after every game. Against Newcastle, I think it's the lowest set of player ratings I have ever seen. Sanchez top with 5.8/10 and Fofana lowest with 3.3/10. Room for improvement from all the players!

TomB

16 Mar 2026 15:18:58
James apparently out for 6-8 weeks with hamstring injury. Always seems to happen when a player signs a new contract.

My guess is the LR haters will say he has been overplayed in midfield and Santos plus Lavia could have played 45 mins each against Villa.

Mind you he probably got his injury in training.

TomB

1.) 16 Mar 2026 15:37:35
I doubt anyone will blame LR for the injury - strange comment. James being injured is hardly unexpected.

2.) 16 Mar 2026 16:02:58
Tom,

I doubt anyone, or indeed anyone, should blame LR for RJ's injury. His record speaks for itself.

3.) 16 Mar 2026 16:22:53
Let's hope not, but strangely, I have just received a WhatsApp message saying it's down to LR playing him in midfield too often.

4.) 16 Mar 2026 17:49:07
James shouldn't be playing in midfield, but I doubt that has anything to do with his latest injury.

16 Mar 2026 14:10:45
I'm pleased that our current owners have been commended on their early reporting of malpractice and their cooperation with the authorities.
The penalty is about what I expected. I think it's all also good news that the club/owners have excepted the punishment in full. That's one we can put behind us.

TomB

16 Mar 2026 11:45:02
Out of the last six or seven managers we have signed I only wanted one and he was a complete disaster. We now have the same fans and a few posters who wanted Poch and EM sacked now wanting LR sacked. The club is NOT going to make every fan happy with players or managers it signs.

It is also NOT going to make every fan happy about players it sells or managers it sacks. Fans' personal preferences on comings and goings are not taken into consideration when these decisions are made. Just support the "club" and stop dishing out personal insults.

TomB

1.) 16 Mar 2026 13:18:48
Tom

Have I missed something here? I have not seen personal insults recently.

2.) 16 Mar 2026 14:13:09
Bill, that is not the main point of my post, but yes, you have missed some personal abuse.

3.) 16 Mar 2026 14:22:39
Tom, supporting the club doesn't mean you have to support owners, SDs, coaches or players. This is a banter site and posters are entitled to express their opinions.

4.) 16 Mar 2026 15:38:11
I agree with Jimbo, the site is all about banter and having an opinion, Tom.
As far as the last 8 managers go, I was in favour of Conte, TT, Lamps and Maresca. I was against Sarri, Potter, Pochetino and Liam, so I guess I'm a 50:50.

5.) 16 Mar 2026 16:16:54
Jimbo, I certainly do not hold back on my criticism of players, managers, SD's or owners. My main point is it's impossible to make all the fans happy about a player, manager or SD appointment.

Let me also make it clear I have no problems with criticism. I do have a problem with personal criticism but that's up to the Ed's to edit. I will also acknowledge that what I consider to be "personal" others may not.

Terras, thanks for that information, it's much appreciated.

I haven't got a clue, but my guess is our misdeeds could have affected all competitions under different regulatory bodies, so, therefore, we can be punished again for the same offences.

Bill, if RA remained our owner, it's hard to imagine him reporting himself.

Strangely, and as I don't like cheats, I'm almost happy we have self reported.

Bill, as expected.

Well done the current owners for self reporting and cooperating fully with the regulatory body.

I may be wrong, but I think we still have an FA investigation pending?

Bill, maybe they were asked to get involved to find a replacement after the guy resigned. If a guy leaves for whatever reason, it isn't always a reason, as some do, to bash the SDs or owners. I personally haven't got a clue why the guy decided to leave. As far as I'm concerned, good luck to the bloke. We now move on!!

RPD, your memory serves you well, yes, it did. It was used as another reason to bash the SDs/owners.

Brown envelopes is a phrase I haven't heard since the George Graham and Harry Redknap days.

The sadly departed TV once told me about a deal between Chelsea, the Spuds, and Norwich that made me chuckle and was slightly surprising.

TomB

{Ed025's Note - oh it does still go on Tom, City being the main culprits mate..

As I said, it's a legitimate tactic. My mates who support a wide variety of clubs say it's the same at their home games. It would appear not to be just a Chelsea thing. It's certainly been obvious when I've watched a few of the better teams playing at home.

The Premiership has become boring in my opinion. If others are happy with that, then fine.
