Seemingly out of nowhere! Big fan of the player - the fee not as much, but I guess argument would be looking at other signings made this window... Regardless of fee - interesting to see where he fits in.

I'm not sure about Rogers at that price, partly cos I am worried that it means we are selling Enzo, who I rate more highly in the overall contribution he can make to a team. Rogers made little impression at the World Cup, or at least little on me, at any rate.

But he is a left-sided attacker, and we do need an addition there, and he is also EPL-experienced. If he is coming, I will obviously hope he does well for us, but I will be extremely disappointed if it means we are losing Fernandez as well as Cucurella.

Would sell Enzo in a heartbeat. Good player, but if we could get the fee that we are paying for Rogers, good business.++

If Enzo ever played for Chelsea like he does for Argentina, I'd be thrilled. His shooting from outside the box was abysmal for us last season. (I guess it helps when there's no one within about 15 yards closing him down.)
