Looks like j pedro signing done. just no idea what the strategy is here unless jackson is leaving? he's not better thsn jackson or delap . dodgy injury record and discipline issues. another baffling signing at a time where we shouldve been looking to improve the team.

I haven’t seen that confirmed but I see him as a replacement for Nkunku not Jackson. Time will tell.

2.) 29 Jun 2025 20:30:39
I guess it all depends on how Jackson sees it Tom.

3.) 29 Jun 2025 20:57:07
Im guessing hel replace both felix and NKunku in the squad and will probably rotate with gittens off the left >I think he will surprise any fan whos scratching his head.

4.) 29 Jun 2025 21:03:06
Bill, as far as I’m concerned if a player isn’t prepared to fight for his place then he can leave anytime he likes.

As I’ve said in a previous post I will wait and see him play in Chelsea Blue before I make my judgement.

I agree Poch, I think he is a replacement for Nkunku and Felix I think will end up at Benfica on loan.

5.) 30 Jun 2025 09:06:07
Totally agree Tom, if a player is frightened of competition then let him go.

There is talk about Pedro's injury record. However, I seem to remember Neto had the same issue and that turned out just fine for us.

6.) 03 Jul 2025 19:35:40
He’s just another option and a bit of a different one. Sometimes you’ll want Delap’s strength and ball carrying, others you’ll want Jackson’s ability both to link and to stretch play, then you might want Pedro dropping in and playing the ball through. It’s all about options for different problems.

7.) 05 Jul 2025 22:09:27
FD77, good description of the different options that we need.

Surely at this point someone at the club realises we need a manager with experience at least. The squad is very immature and inexperienced and it shows. I was ripping into the squad the other day and someone on here corrected me and said 'our starting 10 is decent'.

1.8billion spent to have a 'decent' starting 10 and the bench of a top end championship side. There will be studies on how successfully we have wasted money. It's beyond comprehension.

We need to get rid of 4 of the SDs, have 1 man in place working with the manager in partnership and the manager has to have experience.

Sick to death of the massive lack of experience in the squad and backroom staff. And before Tom starts, our squad lacks experience in winning - the two players that have it, Enzo + Cucu, seem to have had enough. Good riddance to Enzo; horrible bloke and decent but overrated and overpriced player.

Have to fix the problem of inexperience that's throughout the whole club from our billionaire businessmen owners who seem to think they know what theyre doing cos they did well on hedge fund trades to our kinetic academy run junior set up- whole club is full of nepotism and mediocrity.

I would sell Jorgensen, Gusto, Guiu, Tosin and Badiashile. I would loan out Delap and maybe Garnacho.

I think Enzo and Palmer will be sold.

That's my bit of football manager nonsense.

I have no idea if the owners will carry on with the current BP, although there have been hints of a slight change of direction.

2.) 24 Apr 2026 13:47:55
It was me Kaz.
Are you agreeing our starting ten is good or not? I have a hard time understanding some of your posts, as they always come across as rants. No disrespect meant by that.

3.) 24 Apr 2026 14:18:50
I agree our starting 10 is decent and could go on to be good. A couple of top level players in there, but we also have Sanchez as our number 1, and a couple of injury-prone players, and the drop off is enormous, which is my issue - 1.86 billion spent, we should have better options than:
Sanchez in net,
whatever on earth our CB situation is - could easily sell all of them other than Colwill
Garnacho or Gittens on the left
Delap as a back up striker.

4.) 24 Apr 2026 15:24:01
I would not get rid of Palmer, Tom.

EF might also stay, depending on who the new coach is.

Still leaves plenty to let go.

5.) 24 Apr 2026 15:57:16
Kaz thanks for the reply. Makes more sense to me now.
I am with you that Sanchez is garbage. Although his shot stopping at times is good. Beyond awful with the ball at his feet.

I would keep Colwill, Fofana, Trevor.
BB and Tosin can go but with Palmer and Tosin being best mates, would that cause Palmer to actually want to go.

Cucu, Reece, Hato, Josh keep, but Gusto can go.

Caicedo, Enzo, Lavia keep, unsure on Santos, sometimes looks very useful.

Palmer, Pedro, Estevao, Gittens, Mudryk keep (yes I know Mudryk! But for some reason I still have hope for him). Kick out Garnacho and Neto (if he actually crossed the ball first time instead of twisting and turning 50 times he might actually create more), Delap and Guiu.

The other young lads I would loan out.

6.) 24 Apr 2026 16:01:38
I didn't say "I" would sell Palmer, but I think the club will sell him and EF.

7.) 24 Apr 2026 16:31:40
Hopefully you are wrong, Tom.

23 Apr 2026 14:53:58
And so it begins. Club insiders and sources releasing info on Liam and the club etc.

The thing I hate most about this useless ownership is their use of the press and specific client journalists to try and spin stories after each disaster they cause.

Embarrassing. Completely dismayed by the state of the club and the bleakness going forward. Someone wake me up when the SDs are all gone!

1.) 23 Apr 2026 15:34:02
I would think most clubs have favoured journalists or general media outlets.

2.) 23 Apr 2026 15:42:30
Not the way the jokers at Chelsea have... Tom, you don't need to defend the clowns running the show every time.

3.) 23 Apr 2026 16:11:05
Kazblue, and obviously the reverse is true. For the record, I'm just stating a "probable" fact. I'm "not" defending our owners or any other club's owners.

4.) 23 Apr 2026 17:22:56
Not reallt interetedbin other clubs, Tom.
Im interested in our s***show of a club atm and the focus on pushing narratives instead of focusing on actual performance top to bottom.

5.) 23 Apr 2026 17:30:52
It's entirely your prerogative to describe the club, the owners and the SD's, anyway you see fit. Crack on!!

6.) 23 Apr 2026 18:47:05
Most supporters, Chelsea pundits, sports journalists, ex-players and Gladys all agree that the problem with Chelsea is at the top, which is amply identified by an article in The Times today headlined: "When will five stooges carry the can for this mess". I hope the answer is soon.

7.) 23 Apr 2026 18:56:37
Well, if it's true that two are about to leave, that's 40% of some people's prayers answered.

If changes are to happen, I guess it will be after any so-called review, and probably after a new manager is appointed.

8.) 23 Apr 2026 19:08:58
Tom, if there is to be any changes in the structure regarding SDs, it should be made before we appoint a new coach.

9.) 23 Apr 2026 19:15:00
I agree it should, but in my opinion, it won’t, and even if we lose two of the current five SD’s, my guess is they will be replaced in number.

22 Apr 2026 17:42:13
So Rosenior is gone - correct decision, ultimately just nowhere near ready for the job and tbf don't think he wanted it - blew up his learning with Strasbourg and parachuted him into chaos - I do feel for him, aside from the weird LinkedIn lingo, interviews seemed to be a decent bloke and do hope he recovers to have a decent career.

Onwards we go… Wonder what further disaster the SDs have lined up for us… vision 2030 on track (if the vision was to fold the club).

1.) 22 Apr 2026 18:26:55
Well said Kazblue.

19 Apr 2026 09:08:14
Well… have waited and waited for things to improve and the project to come to life…. Looks like we’ll be waiting a while longer.

LR might be the worst manager to ever manage in the prem but the bigger issue is who on earth decided he was the right man for the job? Anyone know who's call ☎️ it was? One of our 5 sporting directors maybe? Maybe all of them? - We really are on the edge of disaster as a club rn.

Same old story play well. Undone by errors... ‘We don't need a keeper’ ?? or a cb either apparently… nothing changes.

kazblue1

1.) 12 Mar 2026 10:03:32
Same s***, different game.

2.) 13 Mar 2026 07:03:24
Yep, same s*** every game we lose.

Dont think we’d pay the fee or the wages for him tbh and he's 10 years too old for BlueCo-
i would love him at the club tho think he's top class.

Bill could you blame him for having his head turned- in fact this recall will have made sure of it now…. He was getting opportunities when fit at dortmund - should have just let him stay.

No it doesn't tom… it shows ges a young player with potential and a handful of games in the french league…. long way to go before he can be considered a ‘good player’.

We were average... Thankfully, Leeds missed big chances and were also pretty poor.

Lucky for us - anything can happen in a cup final, so we can hope and pray we somehow nick a win. Hopefully, if it happens, it doesn't paper over the cracks.

yes yes the bates and harding days, relegation struggling to suvive poor results all part of the clubs history.

However, ken bates as much of a scumbag as the man is - if he spent the 1.86billion these owners have- i wonder what fans would be saying.

im sure these owners have done things well or correctly.i just can't think of any.

good result today and how amazing it would be if Arsenal win nothing, spurs or west ham go down (hate both so not fussed) and we win the cup

Tom, we won the Conference League and a summer friendly comp, beating one decent side, who then put 8 past us recently... Talk about overrating achievements, gosh.
