Looks like j pedro signing done. just no idea what the strategy is here unless jackson is leaving? he's not better thsn jackson or delap . dodgy injury record and discipline issues. another baffling signing at a time where we shouldve been looking to improve the team.

1.) 29 Jun 2025 19:49:34
I haven’t seen that confirmed but I see him as a replacement for Nkunku not Jackson. Time will tell.

2.) 29 Jun 2025 20:30:39
I guess it all depends on how Jackson sees it Tom.

3.) 29 Jun 2025 20:57:07
Im guessing hel replace both felix and NKunku in the squad and will probably rotate with gittens off the left >I think he will surprise any fan whos scratching his head.

4.) 29 Jun 2025 21:03:06
Bill, as far as I’m concerned if a player isn’t prepared to fight for his place then he can leave anytime he likes.

As I’ve said in a previous post I will wait and see him play in Chelsea Blue before I make my judgement.

I agree Poch, I think he is a replacement for Nkunku and Felix I think will end up at Benfica on loan.

5.) 30 Jun 2025 09:06:07
Totally agree Tom, if a player is frightened of competition then let him go.

There is talk about Pedro's injury record. However, I seem to remember Neto had the same issue and that turned out just fine for us.

6.) 03 Jul 2025 19:35:40
He’s just another option and a bit of a different one. Sometimes you’ll want Delap’s strength and ball carrying, others you’ll want Jackson’s ability both to link and to stretch play, then you might want Pedro dropping in and playing the ball through. It’s all about options for different problems.

7.) 05 Jul 2025 22:09:27
FD77, good description of the different options that we need.

Same old story play well. Undone by errors... ‘We don't need a keeper’ ?? or a cb either apparently… nothing changes.

kazblue1

1.) 12 Mar 2026 10:03:32
Same s***, different game.

2.) 13 Mar 2026 07:03:24
Yep, same s*** every game we lose.

05 Mar 2026 20:56:44
Great win yesterday, Pedro is on fire atm - great signing and to make it all better I'm sat watching Spurs iplode with Henry VIII in charge. The Championship calls!

kazblue1

1.) 06 Mar 2026 09:47:50
Spurs look in real trouble Kaz and as ED01 recently said if they get relegated and don't bounce straight back they could well go into administation with those huge debts they have on that stadium and the reduced revenue the championship brings

Not sure if anyone follows the academy or is interested in the slightest…we seem to habe imported a full roster of kinetic academy coaches (joe shields links) - lastest being dan hogan as u18s coach…instead of hass sulaiman- who seems to have been demoted to being part of looking after the loan group…

he's been a coach at the club for 18 years and by all sccounts does a great job. Overlookrd so a kinetic coach can take the role…

Not saying its rotten but it doesn't half stink….

kazblue1

1.) 09 Jan 2026 21:49:03
Is it an upgrade?

2.) 09 Jan 2026 23:05:36
No definitely not tom- Hassan has done excellent work, seems to be something sketchy going on with kinetic.

3.) 10 Jan 2026 09:02:21
I’m sure he has done excellent work, otherwise I assume he wouldn’t be at the club but is the alternative better? Or, are you pre-judging the situation for some reason. I have a biased opinion on most things but I do like to occasionally give change a chance.

I’m not sure what “sketchy” is in this instance. My guess is, we have to wait and see if it’s better or worse.

4.) 10 Jan 2026 10:26:10
It disentangle really matter, the players will be sold for profit.

5.) 10 Jan 2026 10:44:37
When and if a player is sold I hope it’s always for profit.

Will be interesting with such a young team to see if any of our academy players take on the challenge of breaking into our first team squad. We will, as always lose some talented players.

6.) 10 Jan 2026 10:47:41
If it fits an "agenda" and that is what you believe then fine.

7.) 10 Jan 2026 13:24:39
Whats sketchy is suddenly a bunch of coaches connected to joe shields get jobs…. and no the guy replacing hassan is nowhere near as qualified and has been at the club a couple of months.

8.) 10 Jan 2026 16:27:41
Of course it could just be he has impressed the people who make these decisions.

I also assume he was “qualified” before joining club? Not everything is a conspiracy.

9.) 10 Jan 2026 17:19:12
Hassan has been u18 coach since 2023 and Harry hudson was part of macfarlane u21 coaching staff and has stepped up since macfarlane has been asked to join the first team.

This is why I find this place frustrating. I had to come back to reply to this.

Stop spreading absolute rubbish. This is all on the clubs website for you to read. Unless you think the club are hiding something. Then you are the reason I don't want to be part of this community.

I suggest if you are actually from England (which i believe some arnt) you go watch our amazing youth teams.

10.) 10 Jan 2026 17:37:43
CFB, thanks so much for the clarification. As I said before I hope you don’t leave the site permanently.

11.) 10 Jan 2026 18:18:37
Chelsea forever blue- the story Dan hogan is replacing Hassan as 18s coach, harry hudson was not mentioned by me and again he was the 18s assistant coach not 21s. atleast read the posts before going on the attack mate come on.

12.) 10 Jan 2026 23:55:44
There doesn’t seem to be a conspiracy to me. It just seems like a normal re-shuffle.

01 Jan 2026 16:16:23
there'll be a lot on the manager now, on whos next etc.

but needs to be so much more focus further up. what on earth do our SDs do? we have spent 2billion under this ownership and our squad is terrible overall so unbalanced - lacking any real quality in attack bar palmer. Cbs a mess, keeper bang average and midfielders not really impressive other than caicedo.
where has all the money gone? what's the plan? someone like gittens a prime example- he looks championship level yet we've spent 50m on him to replace mudryk who was even worse.

now incredibly worried about the state of the club going forward. where has the drive to win gone? does no one care about inning? sick of hearing about young players, projects and resaler value. how about the club focus on one word. WIN.

kazblue1

1.) 01 Jan 2026 17:20:57
I agree about winning being the focus. I do not agree about our players. I think most managers would welcome the chance to be in playing control of our squad.

2.) 01 Jan 2026 17:51:37
Agree TOM we have a good squad that will perform for a good few years winning should be the priority.

3.) 01 Jan 2026 17:58:15
I do agree that the SD's do and have been deserving of criticism and a real look at. I disagree on the notion there goal is just to make money on player sales though. If that is there goal they've done horrifically so far. I think there's only 2-3 players we'd make a profit on though im probably being slightly harsh.

4.) 01 Jan 2026 18:01:57
Pull the other one tom …which players we have a squad full of ‘he might be decent in a few years’ where are the solid players now? We have maybe 5/6 players ready for top level and the rest nowhere near… just one massive waste of money and its embarrassing to even try and defend it …the club has not learnt its lesson and will continue making the same mistakes it looks like.

5.) 01 Jan 2026 18:58:57
Kazblue, I’m not sure what’s embarrassing if I’m happy enough with the majority of our squad.

I would sell, Tosin and Badiashile for another centre half. I would buy Anderson from Forest but that’s just because I rate him highly and I would also take a keeper but only Costa. My number one choice as a CF last summer was Sesko and I can’t say I’ve seen any outstanding CF I would sign so far this season.

6.) 01 Jan 2026 20:56:11
Its embarrassing to be happy with mediocrity when youve spent like we have…. We have done a terrible job of transfers . maybe the worst ever and yet the SDs are cushy in their jobs … dunno what you expect by throwing in inexperienced managers repeatedly with a squad more imbalanced than my vertigo suffering gran

You think the likes of palmer caicedo estavao will stay at this circus forwver?

7.) 01 Jan 2026 21:34:44
Kazblue, you are obviously entitled to your opinion but so am I. My opinion is not more or less embarrassing than your opinion of our players and club.

8.) 01 Jan 2026 22:23:19
Your opinion is embarrassing Tom… you don't have to defend everything the club does.

9.) 02 Jan 2026 04:51:41
Kazblue, I will be critical when i think it’s deserved and give praise when I think it’s deserved not just because other posters want me to agree with their opinions.

I repeat, calling other peoples opinions embarrassing is in itself embarrassing.

10.) 02 Jan 2026 10:18:27
I have to say that i agree with Tom, we have a number of players that will get much better but it depends if the club allows them to do so.

11.) 02 Jan 2026 13:32:01
Not really Tom- you parrot the club lines and defend the ownership at every opportunity- despite them absolutely destroying the club so far- awful on and off the field and with a clear aim of fleecing rhe club…no idea why you're so defensive of the ownership.

12.) 02 Jan 2026 14:06:57
Your use of phrases such as embarrassing and absolutely and fleecing are your opinion. I wi respect your opinions.

I will try to make my opinions objective in the context of negative or positive and when I don’t know the facts I will usually mention that I am guessing.

01 Jan 2026 12:39:35
So maresca gone…never his biggest fan but he's been well and truly done in by yhe club here …really worried about the seeming grip our SDs have on the club…theyve been disasterous so far and can only see the cycle repeating itself again going forward.

kazblue1

1.) 01 Jan 2026 13:50:56
He’s been done by his style of play stupid substitutions, playing players out of position giving players who aren’t good enough loads of playing time and the main one not winning games.

2.) 01 Jan 2026 14:25:58
Kazblue, entirely agree with you. I am very worried about the next appointment.

3.) 01 Jan 2026 15:07:10
Agree 100 nib.

4.) 01 Jan 2026 15:07:35
Problem is nib we have a lot of crap players …none of who he picked…why not make joe shields manager he seems to but his nose in anyway maybe eghbali can be assistant.

Dont think we’d pay the fee or the wages for him tbh and he's 10 years too old for BlueCo-
i would love him at the club tho think he's top class.

Bill could you blame him for having his head turned- in fact this recall will have made sure of it now…. He was getting opportunities when fit at dortmund - should have just let him stay.

No it doesn't tom… it shows ges a young player with potential and a handful of games in the french league…. long way to go before he can be considered a ‘good player’.

I agree on Colwill. However, it would be brave to assume he'll be straight back to the same level and higher. I think he needs patience, as it can take a while after an injury like the one he had.

sorry ed i disagree- have watched a lot of madrid this season that defence is terrible- your lad can't seem to stay fir for more than 20 mins atm, and they'vejust not replaced that midfield of casemiro kroos modric at all- not that that's an easy task tbf

kazblue1

{Ed001's Note - I fully agree, they are terrible, but they have every official on their side and UEFA, plus they turn it on the UCL. There have been many times they have won it while being terrible mate. I truly hope they do fail, as I dislike both them and Barca intensely.}

Greenaway and Tom are right, let's just keep waiting. Things may magically work themselves out. Ignore the warning signs, these owners know what they're doing - Todd even runs a successful baseball team! Trust the process - our team of 14-17-year-old wonder kids might just wake up as Barca 2009 in 5 years, and won't that be wonderful?

Tom, the 2 cups we won are great n all, but come on - not on the same level at all as UCL or prem. CWC will become a big trophy, but the first edition was played out at a pretty friendly level and the Conference League is a joke tbh.

Yes, Enzo won the World Cup and is probably one of the few semi-leaders we have despite his shortcomings, however, bar him and James we don't have any others and that's a big problem.

Big difference between age vs experience in winning, but 17-23 year-olds are unlikely to have much experience in winning as a simple fact of life. And that experience is currently what we lack and have lacked for a few years now, yet not much seems to have been attempted to fix it.
