When will the decision be made on rudiger / Christensen. Latest rumour is rudiger not accepted latest offer, not heard anything of AC,

Matt, no idea. Unless they have signed pre- contract agreements with European clubs this could go on until summer. I think contracts end in June.

Barcelona hope to conclude summer deals for Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen in a matter of days. By the end of the month is the timeline apparently. Free transfers.

I get it, with Hail Cesar Dave. I can see how he would want to play some of his career in Spain before it ends. AC is still a player with a lot of potential. Academy player with 10 years. Still only 25, which is young for a CB these days.

Barcelona are all about the FREE transfer as they are totally broke.

Rudiger reportedly turning down a large offer to stay at Chels. With is heart set on a big signing on fee and a new life in Spain.

We are going to need some CB's by the looks of things.

I heard rudi has reduced his wage demands to remain around 230 but the club wants to be foolishly obstinate. If I were rudi I would leave if they fail to accept that and he would get a bigger package somewhere else, after all he's one of the best now and wouldn't lack suitors. The club will spend fortune to replace him and may even end up with a maguire. He deserves such package. Even Chilwell and some others receive that much or even more. So it's unfair if he's refused the demands. I will be gutted if he's not renewed. Penny wise pounds foolishly imo.

My guess is for Dave it’s also about the contract being more than one year and if James is fit will he get plenty of game time in a World Cup year.

Christensen is a mystery. As I understood the situation the club believed there was the basis of an agreement with the player and then it all changed.

Rudiger has played well this season and he understandably want what is pro his last big contract to give a significant wage increase.

At the end of the day the club will offer all out of contract players what it constitutes be reasonable. That’s ok with me! I trust the clubs management.

Tomb that's reason you always perceived a bigot and double face character. I'm not sure you would hide under the I trust the club excuse if we were talking about a English player.
Rudigar is a huge part of this squad and should be given a pay rise as he's no longer a young player. This was one of, what reduced arsenal to where they are now, you let your best players leave over matters that could be resolved in a better way. Tomb I would like to know how much chilly is on currently and how much Rudigar has asked for. Smh.

I have said repeatedly I don’t care about the nationality of any player who is in our squad, who plays in the first team or who we sign. Can you please try and get your head around the concept of some people not caring about the nationality of anyone, including football players,

I’ve acknowledged how well Rudiger has played under TT and how I would prefer him to stay but if he goes the club will continue, as it will if any other player leaves Chelsea.

Your comparison of salaries (Rudiger v Chilly) says more about you as poster.

I haven’t got a clue what either player earns now or will earn in the future and as I repeatedly keep saying I don’t care. The club makes the valuations not me!
