Wheely I've just asked Ed002 on Banter page if he might shed light on these reports. Perhaps should have done so on this one but there had been fair bit of talk about our midfield targets there and Ed002 saying we woild like 2 incomings if possible.

Honestly Chelsea have been messing around for long with caicedo and should only blame themselves if we lose out on him. You either pay what Brighton demands or move on but they just been running around jinxed.
Been close to their valuation but can't just go all the way to complete it for a player that's ideal for the squad we have.
Imo they will eventually pay up but the reason they allowed it to drag on is what I don't know.
Thoughts.
