Interesting, I'm assuming Diomande is our first choice but seems sporting want full release clause. Would chelsea be adverse to that deal with Ugochukwu as Nice could be a good loan move for him.

We're currently at the max of international loan slots I believe. If we want to loan Ugochukwu to Nice (and I do agree that he would probably benefit from a loan move) we first need to end one of the current international loans (thinking that Moreira's loan to Lyon hasn't been a great success, to say the least. ) .

I haven't seen Diomande play really, but Todibo is an outstanding CB. Could complement Badiashile or Colwill very very well. Not sure how all CBs would be kept happy however in terms of playing time. Disasi still there as well, and let us hope that when Wes Fofana returns he wil avoid any more major injuries.

Silva and chalobah likely leaving end of season or Jan for TC

Humphrey and Gilbert will be loaned hopefully in prem,

Leaves us 4 CB in Colwill BB disasi and Fofana, adding another doesn’t seem priority for next season let alone Jan,

You can also forget Fofana as he is constantly injured so that leaves 3 CB also we need an experienced player at the back.

You can add Gilchrist to that list of potential centre halves. Also, a Welsh mate of mine told me pre Christmas that Humphrey was having a good season at Swansea.

I can’t see us signing a CH in January.

Both players mentioned gave great potential but are inexperienced.

It has been proven this season and last that Silca has been a real benefit for us.

This is why we need an experienced CB.
