Just home from the game and these are my takes on our performance.

Gusto was first class, so much so Howe switched Gordon to get away from the lad. He looks like a really good prospect.

Cucarella was excellent in his first full game back, he wasn't helped by Sterling for the first half hour but Poch made a brilliant tactical switch by putting Gallagher out on the left to help him out.

Jackson is getting better as the season progresses. There were so many slaughtering him at the start of the season. He is now looking a real handful and another top signing.

Palmer will I'm sure be voted MOM by many and he just oozes class.

My Choice as MOM was Caicedo. He just breaks up play and works so hard for the team.

Pleased for Mudryk. That cameo performance can only help his confidence.

Lastly if Chelsea ever look to sign a new physio please don't sign the bloke from Newcastle.

Get what your saying overall Tom but Gusto was at fault for first goal and Cucarella the other palmer class mudryk looked good Jackson still not for me as a striker doesn’t hold the ball well enough does something good and then the next 7 times gives it away but he’s what we have so hopefully he pushes on. Good to have carney on the field as well tho for a few minutes.

Respect your opinion Nib. But in my opinion, Jackson was/ is - if anything - pretty good at keeping hold of the ball. I'm not saying that I'm right and you're wrong, but I do find it interesting that we disagree on this :)

Mudryk is brilliant in the middle. I don't know why poch keeps giving him warnings after plays in the media room after games.

He is much better than Lukaku, he wants to play for the club Lukaku does not.

He also has a much better attitude than Lukaku.

Lots of players were at fault for their first goal, Nib. The ball should have been cleared a long time before it came to Gusto.

Insane to me that Jackson still garners so much grief from Chelsea fans. Offers a lot already and has so much room to grow, plus he's show a lot of improvement in his all around play this season.

22 years old, first season in the prem and cost about 30m. This is his first full year of playing as a striker, and he offers a lot in what has been his more natural position on the left wing as well.

He has scored 1 less goal that Drogba did in his first season at Chelsea in 2 less appearances so far. First Chelsea striker to score 9 league goals since Tammy in 19/ 20 you know.

Jackson is getting better and better, he was rushing things earlier in the season but is now starting to settle down, his decision making is improving and he showed against Brentford that if you deliver a cross into the box he will get onto it. I think he might emerge as a leader as well, something this young side needs.

A game full of mistakes by both sides but some good goals and am delighted with the three points. We did pick up pace in second half and great to see Mudryk on score sheet again, along with Palmer and Jackson's slightest of flicks for early opener. Gusto does look the part and am just prayting he can stay fit.

Agree witb positive remarks about Jackson and remember Drogba only scoring c 10 goals in first seasin. But clearly CFC needs another striker, particularly with Nkunku struggling so much with fitness and also because NJ can surely only be better if has more help up front plus may be in off the wing at times.

For me We sign Osimhen he doesn’t play that simple maybe cup games and a run out now and then.
Don’t no why lukaku got brought up but your right lukaku doesn’t want to play for us but I wouldn’t go as far as saying lukaku isn’t as good as Jackson but we all have our own opinions.

It was a smart goal from him last night. Looking at the replays I don't think it was going in until he flicked it.
