Geovany Quenda is a serious, serious talent.

What I saw against Juventus was ridiculous for a debut. The confidence, the explosiveness, the way he attacked defenders like they were nothing this boy looked completely fearless.

Chelsea haven't just signed another young player; they've potentially signed a future superstar. I've seen plenty of talented youngsters come through, but Quenda has that different mentality.

If he continues like this, in a few years we'll be talking about him among the very best wingers in Europe. This kid can become world-class.

Finchy, watching our young players perform to a high standard is one of the joys of watching football.
We all know, only a small percentage of young players will fulfil that early promise, but I see that as a reason to celebrate the "now" and hope we can also celebrate the future.
