Pathetic performance. Boehly and co haven't saved us, they've ruined us by spending £1b on rubbish and kids and everyone thinks it'll gel and work.

If I was Poch I'd walk now before they ruin his reputation too.

How do you spend £1b on about 30 players and only buy one player that can score or create goals. and he's injured.

Absolute joke of an ownership, can't even sort us out with a kit sponsor.

Boehly and co OUT!

Pathetic post. Give them a chance will you. Bloody FIFA career mode mentality is ridiculous.

dan, I’m sorry to say you are not first to say TB out. That weird honour went to some poster after the the hammers game.

I assume this is yet another joke by a poster I respect enormously?

The ownership smack of a FIFA career mode mentality more than any fans comments.
I feel very sympathetic towards the manager who has been left with a disparate band of young players few that he had any say in signing and few that are ready to deal with the rigours of the PL.
On top of that we have wasted hundreds of millions and still don't have an experienced striker and a real No1 goalkeeper.
The finger should point firmly at the owners and no one else it is they who have chosen the route we are on noone else.

dan23-tbat was child's reaction.

That was of anything Poch formation and tactics that lost us that.

Because where embarrassing like getting rid of proven goal scorer and not replacing him with another these plans have been put in place by somebody at the club and it’s letting us down and the billion pound doesn’t look like it’s been spent well and it’s a real problem, the thing is poch looks clueless and looks confused that’s even more worrying.

We have a striker he got injured, these things happen and that’s why clubs have squads.

Poch is already “clueless” and the owners should leave. After four games! Behave!

Or maybe, just maybe, they have the brain cells to have a long term vision as well as try to improve short term. I’m happy with the peso far. We’ve been unfortunate with injuries once again but the players look fit, together and look like they care. Wasn’t our day today, we move on. Flying off the handle after 4 games is just plain silly. The same posters, every year, no matter who the manager or the players, you also trash and moan. Be better.

Nibb

Is that the proven goalscorer who did not want to play for our club?

Four games into a season with an almost completely rebuilt squad, built more for future success than present and this is how fans react?

Just have some patience guys.

Isn’t this a “banter” page where people can speak their mind and post an opinion?

If I don’t agree with an opinion, I’ll discuss it or counter it. Yet others on this site just throw words out like “pathetic” and “childish”! This is why many posters over the years have left. We’re not allowed an opinion if it isn’t the same as the longer standing members of the site.

Tell me, what has the ownership done that’s positive since they took over? Are you happy as a Chelsea fan to finish in the bottom half for the next 5-10 years in hope that one day it all clicks? Are you happy we’ve wasted £1b on players, most of whom wouldn’t get a game at any other top European side? Will you be happy if this so called plan backfires and we end up with transfer bans or worse?

Only decent thing these clowns have done is bring Colwill home and I guarantee if it wasn’t for Poch they’d have sold him to put 100% pure profit on the books!

Dan and nibble, all I can say is grow up, having the same thing said on literally every single post is beyond tiresome at this point and contribute absolutely nothing to the conversation.

Today was worrying in the sense we only had 2 shots on target and we didn’t create too much. I think we 100% need to ditch the back 3/ 5 as it’s obviously not providing us any more defensive security (having only kept 1 clean sheet so far) and now we have more attacking players back (Broja, nkuku, Madueke were all injured at the start of the PL and we have have palmer now too) so given we don’t have a prolific striker, we need as many attackers on the pitch as possible imo. We played 4-2-3-1 during pre-season and we need to go back to it asap imo.
The subs today were also a lil iffy to me. Taking off Chilwell (who is usually a decent attacking outlet) (he might have been tired or injured idk) but I’d have taken off a CB in Disasi or Colwill. Might have taken Jackson off too for the (extremely young and inexperienced) Washington, if only to to try change things up as Jackson isn’t clinical and maybe the new guy might be.
Today was a step back imo after we’d made some steps forward in our play (even losing to WHU and not winning against LPool) I still have trust in the process. But I want to see 4-2-3-1
With the front 4 being some sort of:
Jackson
Sterling/ Mudryk Palmer/ Gallagher Madueke/ Sterling

I’m also not certain that Enzo is the AM we need. Certainly he should be more attacking but I think he should be more of an attacking CM than one of the front players as he had been for the first 3 games.

Dan, I understand your frustration. I would have thought that missing out on the Champions League this season would have made qualifying this year a priority and that the transfer policy would have been targeted at that goal. If we continue to miss out on qualifying for the CL, apart from the financial implications we will end up just being another run of the mill mid table club. If people are willing to wait for several years for our renaissance, fine but once you fall off the top table it is very difficult to get back.

dan. We are four games into a season wit a team that is basically being put together in real time. To make statements such as “TB out now” is bound to have a reaction.

You are obviously correct about it being banter site but that works both ways. If you give it you have to be prepared to take it.

I was never as optimistic as some on this site about this season but after our general pre season performances I was starting to get ahead of myself. I was also happy with our performance against the scousers. Unfortunately I forgot that this was always going to be a turbulent season.

My concerns are about confidence. That can be a very fragile thing that has almost no rational explanation. We now have an international break and it will be interesting to see how players come back from that.

Tom, the negative replies I got I shouldn’t have to take. Is being called Pathetic, childish and to grow up, banter? My post was about the ownership, I didn’t reply to any of you and say that you’re “delusional” or use any other negative words towards you as posters.

There’s a hardcore group of fans on here that have a pack mentality when it comes to people having their own opinions, maybe we’ll keep them to ourselves now. You lot can post about your happiness at being a mid table club, spend another £1b on average players and it’ll be all rainbows and unicorns in here.

Fuser, I’d have a scan through past posts mate, you won’t find another one where I’ve been negative so I don’t know where you’ve got that from.

Dan, I have never said I’m happy with being a mid table club but I’m not arrogant enough to believe we have some sort of god given right to success.

As far as the investment in players our new owners have made. I have not got a clue and neither has anyone else if these players will all be successful. Some are probably going to be duds. The difference is I’m going to give them and the manager more than four games (two of which we have played well in) before I make snap judgements.

You are in my opinion one of the more thoughtful posters on this site and as far as I’m concerned you be as negative, positive or cynical as you like but we all have to except our views will be challenged.
