Total respect to Enzo, playing through pain month after month. Hopefully he will be back to the form he showed at the World Cup and early on his Chelsea career after surgery. Always nice to hear the full story behind player performances. ?.

Fair play to Enzo but was it wise to play him for so long with this injury?

Yeah not entirely sure Jimbo. If he’d had it done straight away he’d have been back healed &fit a month or two ago.

Everyone in there jobs work through injuries, are we seriously celebrating this to excuse why he's been underwhelming at chelsea from his first game? He has ability but he has to improve. Fair enough he's playing through it but when his performances are as dire as they were against arsenal, it's better to not play.

Standard, you will be returning to a country that has millions of people not working because of sickness and there will also be a percentage of those “sick” people who are bogus!

To say “everyone” in the jobs work through injuries is just wrong. There will be a percentage of people in this country who have to work to pay the bill and they have to work through there suffering but that does not apply to “everyone. ”

I have no idea if the Enzo injury that he has carried for several months, probably to help the club through its injury issues, has affected his playing performance. My guess is neither have you.

I hope to see a pain free Enzo next season strutting his stuff. I will leave my judgement until after then.

I do think Enzo is a top player and I believe that Caicedo well be also be a proper midfielder in a better Chelsea team. I would prefer CG to stay and link with Palmer as I think Chelsea would have a very good 6,8,10 that would challenge for top 4 PL. It is the amount of dead ends and ball loss that has contributed to the general mediocrity of the team. None more so than the goal kick 6 yard box shenanigans to beat the press. Disasi, Badashielle are the worst, slightly better is Cucurella but even he is unpredictable, Gusto and Chilwell can do it, but when they do get out, the next step down the flank or up the middle is another minefield, Sterling receives is smothered and then simply loses the ball, Murdyke looks clueless as if he has never worked on it in training, generally he loses it by simply giving it away, or in an attempt to retrieve a wretched pass fouls the opponent so frustrating. and Jackson is so unpredictable that midfielders are reluctant to commit and go by him, as it is 50:50 as to whether he’ll get it to a Chelsea shirt, go on a run himself or simply have the ball removed from him and he falls over.
