I would rip up Fofana’s contract and let him go for free. All that I see from the remnants of Maresca’s time is the defense think passing back to the keeper, no matter what, makes sense. I absolutely hate it. Fortunately Hato hasn’t been tainted with this terrible tactic.

I wish this game was a 3am kick off so I didn’t bother. Liverpool are as dreadful as us to watch. They have had a horrible season and they are well above us. Let that sink in.

Fortunately, at 2:45am I can wake up and watch Juventus play. A team that doesn’t always win, has also had a bad season, but because the players at least try and show respect to the badge, I’ll give up my sleep to watch.



I absolutely hate this Chelsea team. I no longer feel like this is my club. I dgaf about our useless owners. I care about those that put on the badge, and this lot is a pathetic excuse of Chelsea footballers. Don’t care that Tom watched worse. This team cares the least about the badge since I started following the club with Wisey as the captain. A bloke I’m sure would rip pieces off these prima donas.

Anfield against a shockingly bad Liverpool team, and barely a player put in a real shift or tried to win the game. The fact it will be viewed as an improved performance is the reason I'm falling out of love with this club. We are pathetic.

I agree with Tom, and thought what was clearly better today was the fact that all our players looked up for the fight for once, which we haven't been for far too often this season. Also, Palmer was considerably improved, and great to see LC back in the line out.

Enzo and Caicedo v good too, and Joao Pedro.

But there are weaknesses in some positions, too boring to talk about again, and JP deserved far more support in attack from wide players and some r regular goalscorers apart from him.

We look a far more solid unit with Colwill in the team.

Better overall performance with some good spells. Cucarella was outstanding any my MOM but big shout for Pedro and Palmers best game for a long while.
I remain mystified how Josh isn't playing instead of Gusto.

Yes, Gusto has been bang average, or worse, far too often this season. Not giving Josh more playing time seems criminal.

I personally didn’t think it was a foul but they get given at Anfield. I think Gust has been his normal self but I maybe a big biased.

On a more serious not we have generally bossed the game.

We have grown in confidence and all of a sudden players are demanding the ball and making runs without the ball.

I assume the scousers will add a midfield player because they look as if they are being overwhelmed.

Can't be too impressed with anyone as Liverpool are dreadful and if they put it any effort, we would likely give up. In saying that it's now clear after 45 minutes that Cucu is our best LW and he isn't a LW.

Caicedo's passing is slept on and if we can actually build a strong attacking team I think he will shine. Great to see Levi back controlling the defence.

I’m confused, is this a friendly game? What the f*** is the speed of build up by both teams? Liverpool don’t need to put in much effort for the win, but these blokes are legit being paid for this.

Interesting team selection. Can't say I'm mad at it. Liverpool doesn't exactly have a dominating midfield and Wirtz seems their most creative so without him maybe we have a shout. I wonder if Hato will be on the wing or central. I think he is a superb footballer so watching him play in more advanced positions should be fun.
