I didn't enjoy the second half performance as much as the first half.

Obviously Delap will get justified plaudits for his cameo.

Just one other shout, Sanchez made a couple of important saves. Without those saves the game could have easily slipped away.

The saves were ones any goalkeeper should make. The one where their player put off a weak shot from the ground should have been gathered rather than palmed away.

He played well towards the end of last season and he made, in my opinion, two good saves yesterday.

Getting beat all over pitch all the ball but look as dangerous as ball pool in kids play area. Hopefully Sunday we buy a striker as he's had 3 games off and I've done more running to bar and back the blokes useless. Would take Isco today as well the blokes always been brilliant gusto has had a nightmare rest have looked average but there happy with us having ball as well don't look like scoring hopefully enzo changes something straight away but I doubt it.
For me already depending on the signings is everyone in the same boat getting a champions league spot this year is more on the money it brings into the club not we're going to do anything in it because if we don't sign some major players we will not get our group stages.

That was one half that will not live long in my memory!

I am not a fan of the so called inverted FB system but Gusto is making it look impossible. He has had a very poor first 45mins.

I would make two changes. Noni off for KDH, Gusto off for James and play 433 with Palmer on the right.

All the money we have gone through and on one of the biggest games of are season we don’t have a striker it’s a total mess and unacceptable for a club our size. Don’t get me wrong I don’t rate Jackson some of you know this but the shape looks better with him I’d bring Guiu on now at least he should make the right runs.

Don’t get me wrong great end of the year finish am just stating facts and for a club this big it shouldn’t happen, not rated tosin all season but yesterday he was brilliant new have some really good players joining and some coming back if we get the right three in the summer think will be hard to beat.

What do you mean about club this big. There has been clubs bigger than us in the past. And are doing nothing now.

We should be pleased the owners have put so much in to the club. Yes 1.3billion or whatever standard kept spouting. As tomb said will they make everyone happy? Hell no. But the investment is there.
The so called dumb and dumber that have seen great gems Santos, estevao, moi, enzo, guiu they must be doing something correct but the will get loads wrong as well as per every sporting director.

I am no where near 100% happy with everything but it's a far too short life to be upset with something you can't influence. So relax join tomb with a jd and celebrate us getting top 4 and potential conference league winners ?.

Let's see what Man City, Liverpool and Arese spend during the two transfer windows this summer

I think with the players joining us, players returning plus additional experience, we will be a really good side next year and if we add the ECL, we will have a winning mentality.

I disagree bill. Billion pound bottle jobs was every where it's all that got printed at one point.

The noise has only really stopped since pundits have realised we are building something. Which is slowly filtering down to us fans. Slowly but surely the fans are becoming more positive about our situation.

I believe people are negative due to the things they read in the media. Which brings them thoughts to the forefront of your mind, making your thoughts worse.

But that's what the media do, they want clicks or buys. That's why every day we are linked to 100s of players but only actually follow up on 2 or 3. Then when the news goes quite on us they throw in the we won't pass psr or ffp. Again makes people worry.

I say read what you want but take 1% from what you read. Wait until it happens then react. You can't react at something that hasn't happened yet. For instance not finishing in the top 6. What will be will be and won't ruin my life.

Just home from the game. The first half was truly awful with both teams going back in time with there tactics.

The second half was marginally better with us becoming more physical, moving the ball quicker and closing down as a team. That said, it was still awful on the eye.

Caicedo is just different gravy big shout outs to Colwill who had one of his best games for a while and obviously Cucarella.

The Champions League is in our own hands. Let's see if these players have to bottle to perform in a hostile environment.

Bill, certainly they put in a good performance against the scousers and we got a result last night. Both were must win games.

The opening 20mins against Newcastle was awful and then we had the sending off but I was ok with our ten man second half performance.

Sorry. last post should have ended saying with Neto in the centre and Lavia behind Caicedo and Enzo. George ran hard but with little service and not great at holding it up. Might have been better coming on as sub. not sure.
